Afterfees
Afterfees Privacy Policy
Effective date: 11 October 2026
Afterfees is an iPhone app that shows Amazon sellers their true profit after Amazon's fees, refunds, advertising and their own costs. This policy explains what information Afterfees handles, why, and the choices you have.
Afterfees is provided by RS Retail Hub Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16794439), registered office 15 Coleridge Crescent, Hemel Hempstead, HP2 7PG, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the information described here.

The short version
- Afterfees is read-only. It never changes your listings, prices, inventory or anything else on Amazon.
- You sign in on Amazon's own page. We never see your Amazon password.
- We do not collect your name, email address or phone number to use the app, and there is no Afterfees account to create.
- We do not access or store Amazon buyers' personal information (names, addresses, phone numbers or emails).
- We do not sell your information, show ads, or use analytics or tracking tools.
- Disconnect Afterfees at any time and we delete your store's data from our server.
1. Information we handle
When you use sample data
If you explore Afterfees without connecting Amazon, everything stays on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to us.
When you connect your Amazon seller account
With your permission, granted on Amazon's authorisation page, our server retrieves the following from Amazon through its Selling Partner API and stores it:
| Information | Examples | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Store details | Your selling partner ID, marketplace (e.g. Amazon UK) and store name | To identify your store and show its name |
| Amazon authorisation | An access token Amazon issues for Afterfees | To keep retrieving your data without asking you to sign in each time. It is stored encrypted and never sent to your iPhone. |
| Orders | Order number, date, status, and the products, quantities and prices in each order | To calculate sales and profit and send new-sale alerts |
| Financial events | Referral and FBA fees, storage fees, refunds, reimbursements, advertising charges, promotions and other adjustments | To calculate your profit as Amazon actually charged it |
| Your listings | SKU, ASIN, product title, brand, image and price | To name your products and match them to orders and costs |
| Inventory | FBA stock levels | To show stock alongside sales |
| Competitor offers | Other sellers' offer prices, seller names and ratings for your products, as publicly shown on Amazon | To alert you when a competitor's price drops below yours |
| Reports | Your sales and traffic report | To show how your store is performing |
Information you enter
- Product costs (what each unit costs you) and business expenses (for example software or packaging). These are stored on our server with your store's data so your profit is accurate.
- Alert preferences (which notifications you want), stored on your iPhone.
Information created when you use Afterfees
- A session token that keeps your iPhone signed in to your store. It is stored in your iPhone's Keychain; our server keeps only a one-way hash of it.
- Server logs. Like most online services, our server records technical details of each request (such as IP address, time and the address requested) to keep the service secure and working. These logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, advertising identifier or browsing activity.
2. How we use information
We use the information above only to:
- calculate and show your sales, costs and profit by day, product and order
- send sale and price-drop alerts you have turned on
- show your figures in the Afterfees Home Screen widget
- keep the service secure, prevent misuse and fix problems
- respond to you if you contact us
Notifications are created on your iPhone by the app itself. Their contents are not sent through any third-party notification service.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling or selling to others, and we do not use it to train AI models.
3. Legal bases (UK GDPR)
Much of this information is business data. Where it relates to an identifiable person (for example a sole trader), we rely on:
- Contract: to provide Afterfees, which you ask us to do by connecting your store.
- Legitimate interests: to keep the service secure and working (for example server logs), where this does not override your rights.
- Consent: for notifications, which you control in the app and in iPhone Settings.
4. Who we share information with
We do not sell or share your information with anyone for their own purposes. We use:
- Amazon: the source of your store data. Amazon's own privacy notice covers how Amazon handles information.
- Fly.io, Inc.: our hosting provider. Our server and database run in its London, UK region, with data encrypted at rest. Fly.io acts only on our instructions. Where Fly.io processes data outside the UK, it does so under its data processing terms with appropriate safeguards.
- Apple: provides the App Store and the iPhone features Afterfees uses (such as the Keychain and widgets), under Apple's privacy policy.
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, Amazon or us.
5. How long we keep information
- While your store is connected, we keep its data so Afterfees can show your history.
- When you disconnect (Settings → Amazon Account → Disconnect), we delete your store and all data stored for it from our server immediately. Copies in our encrypted backups are removed as those backups expire, within 7 days.
- Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider and then deleted.
- Data on your iPhone is removed when you delete the app.
If you stop using Afterfees without disconnecting, you can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below). You can also revoke Afterfees' access from Amazon Seller Central at any time.
6. Security
- All data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
- Amazon authorisation tokens are encrypted at rest and are never stored on your iPhone.
- Each seller can only see their own store's data.
- Access to our systems is restricted, protected with multi-factor authentication, and we have an incident response plan. If a security incident affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your personal information
- correct information that is wrong
- delete your information
- restrict or object to how we use it
- give you your information in a portable format
Email contact@afterfees.co and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
8. Children
Afterfees is for Amazon sellers and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect.
